Additional Member Benefits
The Gift Bag Program – 3 sizes of unique gift bags are available for order at a reduced rate. These bags are printed with “Handcrafted on P.E.I.” and “Fait a la main a l’Ile-du-Prince-Edouard”
Display Case Program – Exclusive access to the display cases in all Visitor Information Centres, the Charlottetown Airport, the Shaw Building, Provincial government buildings, etc.
Membership Definitions
Active – Work has met the Standards Guidelines as set out by the craft sector.
Active (individual) – A producing craftsperson; 3 items of each medium in which you are currently producing must be submitted to, and approved by, the Standards Committee; must be a resident of P.E.I. for at least 6 months of each year and the crafts must be produced during that residency.
Active (family) – Two or more people working in the same or different mediums; three items of each medium that you are currently producing must be submitted to, and approved by, the Standards Committee; if working in various mediums or on separate products in the same medium, family members must submit individually, three items each, to the Standards Committee; must be residents of P.E.I. for at least 6 month of each year and the crafts must be produced during that residency.
Active (business) – Two or more people working in the same or different mediums (i.e. an apprentice, hired staff, etc.); Active members must be producing craftspeople (owners/principals of business); 3 items of each medium currently produced by the business must be submitted to, and approved by, the Standards Committee; items must be sold under the business or owners name; owner and/or principals of business must be residents of P.E.I. for at least 6 month of each year and the crafts must be produced during that residency.
Associate – Open to people who support the aims of the Craft Council (but do not make items for sale)
Active (non-resident) – May fit into any of the previous three categories (individual, family or business).

Any crafts person may wish to consider a free listing in the PEI Artists Directory. Artists can complete the registration themselves from any computer by visiting www.peiartists.com/en/
