Professional Development
Funds are available for courses, workshops, conferences, study tours and specialized research. Monies for this fund are raised by the Crafts Council.
Joan Auld Scholarship (Island Residents)
A Scholarship, valued at a minimum of $ 200, is available to a student undertaking full-time studies in a craft-related field at a recognized institution of craft and design. In order to be eligible for this scholarship, the student must demonstrate high school graduation or equivalency (i.e. must meet the requirements for entrance into a college program).

Loan Program
Interest-free loans to help craftspeople purchase materials (and in some cases equipment and building supplies) in the off season, when income is limited. Maximum $3,000 per craftsperson. Administration fee is $60 ($70 for non-members) per year of repayment.
Provincial Arts Council Grants to Artists
The Prince Edward Island Council of the Arts has several grant programs open to professional craftspeople to a maximum of $5,000 for senior professional artists and $3000.00 for emerging professional artists. For more information please visit www.peiartscouncil.com
