Village Pottery: Daphne Large & Suzanne Scott

Village Pottery was established by Daphne Large in 1973. It is Prince Edward Island’s longest running pottery shop, featuring the largest selection of island pottery.

In this shop you will find over 10 potters work on the main floor, a lower-level studio where the majority of the pottery is made as well as an art gallery on the 2nd floor. Here you will find the stunning fabric art of Margaret England, paintings by Geraldine Ysselstein and photography by Mike England.

While visiting the shop, customers are encouraged to take a stroll through the perennial gardens, admire the rolling farm hills surrounding the shop while capturing special moments with their camera. Today, Village Pottery is family owned and operated with Daphne’s husband, Ian and daughter, Suzanne helping to manage the business.
