“Pride PEI is taking their vendor fair online for this year’s 2020 Pride Festival, scheduled for July 26-August 2. In partnership with friends at Upstreet, KKP, Golden Custom, and other Island businesses, Pride will be launching an online Pride Pop-Up Shop in early July to sell art, crafts, wares, and other items from PEI artists and artisans to ship all across Canada in celebration of PEI’s diverse and vibrant arts scene.
 
“Pride will be curating the Pride Pop-Up Shop with work that is uniquely PEI, and is striving to include artists from all backgrounds and communities in celebration of diversity, inclusion, and representation. Pride will work with artists, craftspeople, and artisans to facilitate the listing, marketing, fulfilment and shipping of their work to purchasers from across Canada, and will be marketing the Pop-Up in markets across Canada to support sales as best we can.
 
“To curate the collection for the Pride Pop-Up Shop, Pride PEI is looking for artists, artisans, and creators to submit Expressions of Interest ASAP at the form linked below. A wide call will go out for applications on Monday June 8, and responses will be quickly reviewed and juried under the guidelines established under the PEI Crafts Council Jury Standards before notifications are sent to applicants. Pride PEI is looking to develop a preliminary list of work to be included in the Pride Pop-Up Shop by late June 2020, working with artists and artisans to start taking orders early July through late August.
