Come join Caley Joy Photography as we dive into how photography is one of the most powerful tools for marketing your modern business. During our afternoon workshop will we discuss; creating a cohesive brand through visual language, how to create images that will catch the eye of potential clients, how to set up a minimalist studio in any space, as well as, a live demonstration of photographing various local Etsy products.
Caley Aylward is a photographer based on Prince Edward Island. She is a lover of natural light, and is passionate about business and marketing. She believes in the power of influence that photographs can have on us, and our potential clients. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography from Ryerson University, and Bachelor of Education from Western University; the perfect combination for an afternoon of teaching the art of photographing your products for increased profit.
You are encouraged to bring a camera and 1-2 of your products which you will be able to use for practice.
Cost is $25 for Etsy Team PEI & PEI Crafts Council members, $35 non-members.

Jody Racicot is a lifelong artist, craftsman and teacher. His furniture has been featured in National publications and has been exhibited from BC to PEI.
Jody teaches the business of performing for Holland College’s school of Performing Arts.

Along with Jody's experience and enthusiasm, there will be a number of guest speakers to provide you with the most up to date information you need to run your craft business.
The Business of Craft Course is a 10 week course, 3 hours per week.
