This workshop is for anyone who wants to try their hand at scratchboard, and learn about the medium through creating a piece of art. You will be provided with all the materials you need to learn basic scratchboard techniques and to create your own piece of scratchboard art. Previous drawing experience will help but is not completely necessary.
The workshop will be limited to 6 attendees - so please only register if you intend to come!
The workshop will take place on Friday, July 10th from 5:30-8:30pm
Location: The Studios (2nd floor), 94 Water Street, Charlottetown, PEI
The cost of the workshop is $35 per person (plus HST).

You will get a scratch tool, test board, and 5x5" professional quality scratchboard to keep
You will have access to a wide variety of other scratchboard tools to experiment with during the workshop
The workshop will be three hours long, which is enough time for you to practice basic techniques and get a good start on your piece of art. Depending on how detailed you choose to make your piece you may want to keep working on it past the workshop - I am happy to follow up with you through the end of July if you need further help or guidance!
