Rose works part~time in a small home studio. Her home is located along the South shore in beautiful Prince Edward Island, Canada.
She joined the PEI Crafts Council in 2015 and was awarded a mentor-ship program from the council. This is where her metalsmith journey began. She then went on for additional training from the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design (NBCCD) ~ Summer workshop eVentures program.
Rose works with sterling silver, copper and brass metals. She uses various tools and mediums such as: hammer, torch, rolling mill, stamps and patinas to create her handmade jewelry.
She finds creating takes her to a solitude of inner peace and relaxation. She takes pride in her work and inspires to create a good quality product, emphasis on attention to detail and pleasing to the eye.
